The UK currently only produces 54% of the food we consume. We need to look for ways to increase our sustainability as an island.
The UK will experience further food shortages, not in hundreds of years but now. It is already happening with imported food leaving us at the mercy of fluctuations in worldwide economies, increasing prices and climate change extremes affecting crop production. We must look for ways to become more sustainable.
We believe this can be achieved through CHANGING:
• What we eat
• How we produce food
• How we reduce food waste
By taking a different approach, we can become more self-sufficient as an island and start utilising areas currently not viable for growing purposes. We could change the economics of our seaside towns by growing micro herbs with seawater, for example.
Change happens when the PEOPLE change and make decisions that affect and influence society; let’s be a part of a positive change.
Looking at our diets to reduce the current year-round demand for imported foods is a simple way we can make a difference, along with growing more of our own food at home. In addition, we can encourage local production and redistribution of fresh foods and reduce transport emissions, pesticide usage and food waste.
As a Community Interest Company, we actively want to encourage more corporate and social responsibility for our communities.

There is only 2.5% fresh water on the earth’s surface, only 1% is accessible and of that we use 70% in agriculture.
An increasing population, urbanisation, climate change and socioeconomic development are the main drivers for water scarcity worldwide.
With drought conditions becoming more prevalent, the short-term devastation to crops and the ability to produce food is obvious; however, in the long term, prolonged drought conditions can lead to land subsidence, seawater intrusion, and damage to ecosystems.
The multi-facetted consequences stemming from water scarcity, will change the ability for countries to be self-sufficient and food secure. Already countries are implementing export bans on grains, including wheat, corn, flour, in addition to tomatoes, vegetable oil, beans and more, as each country faces its own challenges with food security.
According to the Global Report on Food Crisis 2022 Mid-year Update, up to 205 million people are expected to face acute food insecurity and to be in need of urgent assistance in 45 countries.
Reducing water consumption is a step in the journey to help prevent starvation. Water is going to become our most valuable resource, and without it we cannot produce food.
We are developing technology that allows crops to be grown directly from seawater, without the need for desalination or electricity. This technology has unlimited potential and can be tailored to many communities’ specific needs.
Water shortage is a GLOBAL issue. Let’s start making a difference and change our approach to water usage and make a difference.
Did you know that much of your food is not as nutritious as it used to be? Due to the intensive farming methods of the last 70 years our arable soils are less rich in essential minerals than they were in the past and this has had a knock-on effect on the nutrient levels in the food that we buy. By growing even a small percentage of your own fruit and vegetables, you can improve your diet and help to reduce transport emissions and food waste.
We are launching a new type of growing system that will enable people to grow their own fruit and veg with much less water than is usually required. It can be used in your garden, on a balcony, roof top or anywhere you have the space, no digging required. It’s a self-contained growing system which is drought resistant, thereby providing a more consistent growing environment with the minimum of effort.
Want to grow with no water cost? In our growing system you can safely use rainwater, bath or even seawater once our weather hits 19 degrees centigrade. Whether you’re a beginner or a grow your own veteran, this system will benefit you.
Our Mission is to change the way we approach food and water shortages, community by community. We ensure that when you use our growing system to produce your own food at home you will also be making a difference to other people’s lives. Profits from every product sold will be re-invested into community projects worldwide to start making a difference.
Each system comes packaged with instructions on set up and a beginners guide to growing to get you started. Ready to join a Revolution?
